Z-coating is a high wear-resistant protective layer technology for thermal print heads independently developed by SHEC. Its features include:
High wear protection layer technology for thick film process
High thermal conductivity
Conductive properties
High hardness and scratch resistance
The wear-resistant life of the Z-Coating protective layer is more than 3 times that of the general glass protective layer; and it has reliable resistance to paper ion corrosion, especially suitable for direct thermal printing, and because of the traditional thick film process, it has a higher price-performance ratio.
1. The structure of the wear-resistant protective layer of the print head

2. Performance comparison of Z-Coating
(1) Wear resistance (standard thermal paper test)
The wear resistance of the Z-coating wear-resistant protective layer is more than three times that of the ordinary wear-resistant glass layer, and it is close to the thin-film process sputtering coating

(2) Comparison of reliability (resistance to thermal paper ion corrosion) characteristics
Z-coating wear-resistant coating has super ionic corrosion resistance, and in high humidity printing environment, the corrosion resistance life is comparable to that of thin film sputtering coating.

(3) Comparison of electrostatic resistance characteristics
Due to the conductive properties of Z-Coating, its electrostatic resistance is significantly stronger than that of ordinary glass glaze wear-resistant coatings
